New Products-Next Generation Mould Level Measurement Products

Berthold Technologies has announced its next generation of mould level measurement systems.

LB 452 CastXpertThe LB 452 CastXpert incorporates faster response times as well as an easy to use color-graphics touch-screen display. The successor to the Berthold Technologies' LB 352, the CastXpert LB 452 sets a new standard for excellence in mould level measurement.

LB 6739 GAMMAcast detectorThe LB 6739 GAMMAcast detector series uses updated technology as well as a new, patented cable connection assembly.  The LB 6739 incorporates a new attachment assembly designed to prevent  cable failure problems.

Steel AOSBerthold Technologies' new activity Optimized Source (AOS) represents the most advanced method of continuous casting mould level measurement. By concentrating the optimal activity where its required most, the AOS can reduce source size and, in conjunction with the LB452 CastXpert, provide the a fast and reliable mould level measurement.

New Product! The Berthold Technologies ALARA Density Measurement System

Berthold Technologies USA announces the availability of our newest system, the ALARA Low Source Activity Density Measurement System.

The ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) Density Measurement System is built around a .9 mCi Cesium 137 source. Due to the extremely low source activity, many of the requirements for owning radiometric sources do not apply. This means its much easier to own, maintain and operate the ALARA Density system when compared to other radiometric based measurement systems.

The ALARA system is primarily deigned for HDPE or similar pipes as well as small to mid size carbon steel pipes.

The ALARA system uses a point beam or small fan beam source shield--depending upon the application.

For the detector portion of the system, you can choose between an integrated HART based detector, the LB 491, or the more traditional remote electronics version, the LB 444.

If you would like to download a copy of the new ALARA Density Measurement system brochure, please click here or over the picture. If you would like to speak to a Berthold Technologies  Application Specialist, just click here.
