Berthold Technologies announces ECcast LB 6780 Eddy Current based Mould Level
Measurement system |
Berthold Technologies
has announced its newest steel market product, ,the LB 6780 ECcast
Eddy Current based mould level measurement system.
Eddy current
technology has proven to be especially effective and reliable-especially in
slab casting. The measurement signal is unaffected by the use of casting
powder.
The ECcast LB 6780 can be used as a stand alone system--or in
conjunction with the new CastXpert LB 452 Mould level Measurement system-
thus allowing extended measuring range for cast star as well as powder
thickness control.
The ECcast LB 6780 is unaffected by
electromagnetic brakes or stirrers for greater flexibility and measurement
performance.
The ECcast LB 6780 is part of the newest generation of
Berthold Technologies' Mould Level measurement products which include the
new CastXpert LB 452 and GAMMAcast detector (LB 6739.
