Berthold Technologies
has recently published an article on Radiation Interference Discrimination
for level measurements in the German publication, Chemie-Technik.
The
article, co-authored by Hans Jürgen Gerbig, Specialist Unit for Radiometry,
BASF Germany and Dr. Dirk Moermann, Product Manager for Berthold
Technologies, focuses on the problems caused by radiographic measurements.
Using Berthold Technologies' patented software, companies who use
radiography to detect
weld integrities can continue to run their processes without having to go
into manual mode. Berthold's RID program actually ignores the radiation
caused by radiographic sources and allows
far more efficient use of vessels without the need to use costly manual
operation
