Berthold Technologies 4-20 Translator
(c) pending is the perfect solution for
situations that call for a second 4-20 mA analog output from
your Berthold Technologies density system.
The 4-20
Translator can be used to convert density type outputs into
non-density ones such as PPG, PPA, KgSA which are commonly used
in the fracing/cementing industry. This eliminates the need for
conversion by a DCS/PLC--the Translator can provide the output.
What's more-it fits into the same cabinet as Berthold
Technologies LB444 Density evaluation unit which saves space in
the control trailer.
If a second 4-20 mA analog output is
needed (perhaps for mass flow) the 4-20 Translator is the
answer. It contains two independently isolated and self powered
4-20 mA outputs to insure you get the outputs you need to do the
job.
The Translator is easily powered by the cabinet
containing the LB 444 evaluation unit. If locating it away from the
evaluation unit is required, then that can be accomplished as
well with a 24V supply.
